Using Casterlabs Caffeinated in VR

Using Caffeinated in VR can be easy through SteamVR using a couple additional tools.
For easiest use, having the programs TransparentTwitchChatOverlay and OVR Toolkit will help a lot

Setting up Caffeinated Chat Overlay​

First start by setting up Caffeinated as you want chat to be. Next, open TransparentTwitchChatOverlay -> 3 line menu -> Settings, and at the bottom change it from KapChat to Custom URL.
Then paste in the same chat widget URL that you would for an OBS browser source, and hit save. You should now have a transparent overlay of Caffeinated chat.

Use in SteamVR​

Hop into SteamVR and start up OVR Toolkit. Then just set up an overlay window capturing the TransparentTwitchChatOverlay window however you want!
A good way to have it is being head tracked, large enough to read, so you can always see your chat.

Use in OculusVR​

Usage in OculusVR is more difficult, due to not having overlay programs like SteamVR. You can follow the instructions above for SteamVR until using OVR Toolkit. Then swapping to a desktop window capture program for OculusVR instead.
